Healthy campus

On March 30, 2022, the University of Geneva was awarded the Platinum label by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), the highest level of certification. This recognition validates a holistic approach to health on a university campus.

The certification covers seven areas — management, physical activity and sport, disease prevention, mental and social health, nutrition, risk behaviors and environment, sustainability, and social responsibility — which together include 100 criteria. Certification is granted once 40 criteria are met, while the Platinum label requires at least 91 validated criteria.
