A matter of equality and public health

High-quality towel and tampon dispensers will be installed in five buildings starting September 1, 2021, to combat period poverty. These dispensers will be accompanied by information on the composition of the products and on the pilot project itself. Events will be held throughout the academic year to challenge and break the taboo surrounding periods.

In line with UNIGE's sustainable development goals and on the recommendation of the2021_08_31_0135.jpg Geneva State Department of Territory in collaboration with SIG-éco 21 as part of their campaign “Mes règles, mon choix” an awareness campaign on the use of reusable menstrual products will take place in the fall in partnership with student associations (AEMG, AEL, in particular) that are very committed to the issue.
