Sustainability is at the heart of the University of Geneva’s values, with strong ambitions in the fields of research, teaching, and operations. Sustainability is a strategic objective outlined in the 2020–2023 Performance Agreement signed with the Canton of Geneva (DIP).
Located in the heart of International Geneva and benefiting from privileged access to this ecosystem, UNIGE has chosen to align its actions with the framework of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDG Office oversees UNIGE’s sustainability strategy and facilitates the involvement of various services, centers, and faculties. As a central entity, it initiates and coordinates numerous projects.
