Sustainable Food System

Food is a powerful driver for transforming our institution toward sustainability. By taking action in this area, we can implement a policy that reduces greenhouse gas emissions, supports biodiversity, promotes health, and helps reduce inequality.

Our commitments:

  • Prioritizing seasonal, sustainable, and local food

  • Reducing meat consumption

  • One vegetarian day per week in all UNIGE restaurants

  • One fully vegetarian cafeteria

  • CHF 5 meals for students
